About the Journal
NURANI: Journal of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Religious Studies (NURANI: JSSHRS) is an interdisciplinary, open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Nurani Institute Indonesia. The journal serves as a platform for the development and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of Social Sciences (Psychology, Law, Communication Studies, Economics, Management, and Business), Humanities, and Religious Studies.
Vision and Mission
The journal aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to share original research, conceptual papers, systematic literature reviews, and case studies. NURANI is committed to:
- Enhancing academic capacity through a rigorous and constructive peer-review process.
- Fostering dialogue between theory and practice to address contemporary challenges in complex and dynamic societies.
- Contributing to the development of social sciences, humanities, and religious studies both nationally and globally.
Publication Frequency
NURANI is published biannually, with issues released in June and December. We welcome manuscripts employing various methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, as well as conceptual and applied approaches.
Open Access Policy
NURANI provides immediate open access to all content on the principle that freely available research supports broader global knowledge exchange. The journal follows a Platinum Open Access model, meaning there are no publication fees (APC: Rp. 0 / Free), ensuring no financial barriers for authors to share their work.
